Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This policy explains what information Roadside Atlas collects when you visit this site, why it is collected, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and where visitors come from. It records your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. IP addresses are anonymized by Google before being stored. We do not collect your name, email address, or payment details anywhere on this site, and we do not run our own accounts or logins.

Affiliate cookies

When you follow an affiliate link, the merchant or their affiliate network (impact.com, CJ Affiliate, PartnerStack, or Awin) sets a cookie in your browser to attribute any resulting purchase to this site. That cookie is set by them, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy. We never see your purchase details — only an anonymized report that a sale occurred.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. We do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels. We do not operate a mailing list at this time; if that changes, this page will be updated before any signup form appears on the site.

Your choices

You can block cookies entirely in your browser settings, or install theGoogle Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading anything on this site.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to request access to any personal data we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to object to its processing. Emailhello@roadsideatlas.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date above.
